Running

Putting one foot in front of the other — from a first 5K on the road to singletrack trails and 100-mile mountain ultras.

Running

From 5K to marathon, running races are an accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.

Trail Running

Running off-road — dirt, singletrack, and mountain paths — from 5Ks to ultras. The terrain makes for an exciting twist and adventure in your running journey.

Ultramarathon

An ultramarathon is anything beyond the standard marathon — 50K, 50-mile, 100K, 100-mile, and timed events. Crossing the line is less about speed and more about not quitting.

Biking

Sustained effort and pacing on two wheels — smooth pavement, mixed gravel, or technical singletrack.

Gravel Racing

Off-road cycling on mixed terrain — pavement, gravel, dirt — for miles. Enjoy the outdoor adventure and welcoming community.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is a pace calculator?+
A pace calculator works backwards from your goal finish time to the pace you would need to hold to get there — or forwards from a pace to an estimated finish time. Endurance Grid has one built for each endurance sport, using the distances and units that sport actually races.
Which sports have a pace calculator?+
Right now, 6 pace calculators are live: Open Water Swimming, Road Cycling, Rucking, Running, Trail Running, and Ultramarathon. The rest of Endurance Grid's 16 endurance sports are on the roadmap and shown as coming soon.
Are Endurance Grid pace calculators free?+
Yes. Every pace calculator is free to use, with no account or sign-up required. Enter your goal and you get your paces right away.
How accurate is a pace calculator?+
A pace calculator gives you an estimate, not a guarantee. It is a planning tool — your real pace on race day depends on the course, the conditions, and how your day is going. Use the number as a target to plan around rather than a promise.
