2026 Allerton World Fair Run/Walk. This race is being put on by, and in support of, the Wayne JH/HS Cross Country Programs. The race is held in Allerton, Iowa and is a part of the annual Allerton World Fair. The race will start and finish near the Inn of the Six Toed Cat (200 N Central Ave, Allerton,)
Registration for all races is $12 + convenience fee for on-line registration up until 5:00 pm on Friday, August 7th. Race day registration will be available from 7:00 am - 7:45 am for $15.
We will not have t-shirts for this event since is the first year of the event. Should we make this an annual event with growing participation, we plan on doing shirts going forward.
The overall male/female winners of the 2-mile walk and 5K will receive a trophy. There will also be medals for the top 2 finishers for the 5K in each of the following age groups:
0-13 (M/F)
14-39 (M/F)
40-59 (M/F)
60+ (M/F)
