Athletes Leading the Way

Each Founding Athlete gets beta access to the app, a founding number, and a page on this site. Click an athlete to see their page. Numbers are given in the order people join, and they are not reassigned. When the program closes, the list closes with it.

Pets Supporting the Founding Athletes

The journey is more fun with friends. Dogs, cats, whatever animal gets you out the door. Founding athletes can add their pet for free.

What Beta Access Gets You

Founding Athletes are the first people on the app. Here is what you and your people can do on it from day one.

Founding Athlete tee concept

Concept: the real pattern is set when the class closes

The Whole Class, on One Shirt

A one-of-a-kind Founding Athlete shirt will be made based on the Founding Athletes that sign up. The front of the shirt will be the grid you just scrolled through. Each square will represent a Founding Athlete, with the color of their favorite sport, listed on the shirt in the order they joined.

A class full of runners makes a green shirt. A class full of hybrid athletes makes a yellow one. Nobody knows what this shirt looks like until the last spot is claimed, including us, which is half the fun.

When the Founding Athlete program closes on October 31, we finish the artwork and send you what the shirt will look like in November. Only Founding Athletes will have the ability to buy this limited edition shirt, and we’ll offer it at what it costs us to make and ship — it’s a separate purchase, not included with your spot.

Four Things Founding Athletes Get

Beta Access to the App

You are among the first people on the Endurance Grid app, before it opens to everyone. Start a group, bring your people, and train together for your next race.

A Place in the Founding Class

Your name and your number go on this page as part of Endurance Grid’s story. Numbers are given once, in the order people join, and the list closes when the program does.

A Dedicated Profile Page on Our Site

Your headshot, your sports, why you train, and one thing you care about — your run club, your business, your nonprofit, your music. You write it, we publish it.

A Say in What Gets Built

A direct line to give feedback on the app while it is in beta. We can’t promise we’ll build everything you ask for, but your voice will be heard.

Claim Your Founding Athlete Number

Your number is set based on when you sign up. The earlier you sign up, the lower your number.

From the Founder

Endurance Grid’s mission is to help people become the healthiest versions of themselves by exercising and celebrating the journey with the people they care about.

If that mission resonates with you, become a Founding Athlete today. We’re an independent, bootstrapped company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. We love what we do and we want to build things that genuinely help endurance athletes.

The Founding Athlete program helps us keep building Endurance Grid into a home for endurance athletes. We’d love to have you in the community.

The Things You’re Wondering

Is this a subscription?

No. One payment, once. There is nothing recurring and nothing to cancel.

Is the Founding Athlete shirt included?

No, it is a separate purchase — but Founding Athletes get it at cost. We charge what the shirt costs us to make and ship, and nobody outside the founding class can buy the one-of-a-kind design. We finish the artwork when the class closes on October 31, then send you the design and the price.

How much of my name do I have to show?

As much or as little as you want. Full name, first name and last initial, or just a first name. You pick at signup and you can change it later.

Can I change what my page says later?

Yes. Send an update any time and we will make the change. Once athlete profiles ship in the app, you will edit it yourself.

What can I link to?

Your website, LinkedIn, business, nonprofit, run club, newsletter, music — anything you genuinely care about. We reserve the right to decline or remove anything hateful, misleading, unsafe, or that we judge to be a poor fit for Endurance Grid.

Can I add my dog?

Your dog, your cat, or both. Every Founding Athlete can add up to three training partners, free with a Founding Athlete spot. Name, animal type, favorite sport, a photo, and something funny about them — that is the whole form.

When does the program end?

The Founding Athlete program closes on October 31, 2026. After that the list is closed and there is no way to join it.
