From the Organizer
The Silicon Valley Mini Kids Triathlon is specifically for kids aged 4 through 6, and parents can help their kids during the race.
The race will be in the beautiful and recently opened Kathleen MacDonald High School. The swim will be in the pool, and the run will be on the sidewalk closed to the public. The bike course will be on a closed road. There should be plenty of parking, the bike course has easy spectator viewing, and the whole event will be more compact.
For kids 4 - 6 years old (parents can help during the race from the swim to the finish line; if the parents decide to help the kid, it will be part of the race the whole time).

Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
