RunningU/Horsetooth Half Marathon Training Presented by Bachus & Schanker is a running race on January 3 – April 18, 2027 in Fort Collins, CO.
Join the Fort Collins Running Club (FCRC) for the 2026 Horsetooth Half Marathon Training Program presented by Bachus & Schanker. Training kicks off Sunday, January 3 with a 3-5 mile group run from New Belgium Brewing. The training program and weekly group runs are open to all. You don't need to be a member of the FCRC to participate, however it is highly recommended that you join the club for the benefits you will receive, such as $20 off the Horsetooth Half, free entry into the Tortoise & Hare and Bacon Strip races (otherwise $30) and many others.
Please register for the program to help us plan all activities. If you would like to take part in the FCRC's free monthly Tortoise & Hare races leading up to the Horsetooth Half, you will need to join the Running Club.
Learn more about the training program and check out the training plans at the race website.
While the program is free to all, if you would like to help defer costs (logistics, post-run refreshments, etc), please use the donation button at the top of the page or during registration or purchase a 2027 RunningU training hat. Pre-purchased hats will be available at the Jan 3 kick off run.
