#RUNMARANA Egg Nog Jog and Kid’s Free FUN Run

On Your Left Fitness and Marana Parks and Recreation want to help you bring in the new year with a little sweetness -- Egg Nog! Finish out 2026 with one final run/walk and after, chug some egg nog to celebrate the start of a brand new year! The start/finish line will host community activities for all ages from 7:00a until 11:00a.

The Course

You choose the distance - 5K, 10K or Half Marathon! The out-and-back routes will run along the scenic Santa Cruz River path with refueling stations located at the start/finish line, the 5K turnaround, the 10K turnaround, and the Half Marathon turnaround. The course remains entirely on the shared-use path and is well-marked with triangle ground signs.

Half Marathon Cutoff ~ 3 hours (USATF Certified: AZ25025JOE)

10k Cutoff ~ 2 hours (USATF Certified: AZ25026JOE)

5k Cutoff ~ 1 hour (USATF Certified: AZ25027JOE)

Race-Day Registration

You can register online on race day until 7:45 a.m. PLEASE USE YOUR HOME COMPUTER OR CELL PHONE TO REGISTER. There will be NO PAPER registration on race day. Price increased on race day to $45.

Packet Pickup

You have two opportunities to pick up your packet ~

~ Monday 12/28, 4:00-6:00pm at the Marana Aquatics and Recreation Center (MARC) (13455 N Marana Main St, Marana, AZ 85653)

~ Race day starting at 7:00 a.m. at the race venue

The New Year’s Eve details

Custom Bibs | All registrations include a custom race bib and a custom online finisher's certificate.
Finisher Medal | All participants registered will receive a finisher medal!
Community activities | Themed face painting, photo booth, and roll-A-Snowman crafts.
Raffle | Two (3) Fitness-themed prize packs will be raffled off for each race. Included with Reg.

CHEERS CHALLENGE

Celebrate the season with double the fun and earn a unique one-of-a-kind medal! Join Marana Parks and Recreation on New Year’s Eve for the Egg Nog Jog, then "run it back" on New Year’s Day at Oro Valley's Hot Cocoa 5K.

How it works:

Participants in the Egg Nog Jog must bring their race bib to the Hot Cocoa 5K to complete the challenge and claim their exclusive Cheers Challenge finisher medal.

RaceJoy App

The RaceJoy app will be available for ALL distances. if you want to use it to receive cheers and directions on your run, or if your family and friends want to track you on race day. Results will be posted live on the event website, and you can sign up for text messaging.
Before you run/walk, consider downloading and using the RaceJoy App. On your event day, turn on RaceJoy, pick your route distance, hit start. When you're done, hit stop and save your results.
