This will be the 8th annual Mom and Pop run held in between the morning and afternoon Middle School Cross Country Championship sessions at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. The race has been a fun way for parents, family, and friends to share the race experience with the student runners.
Date: November 7, 2025 Rain Date: November 8
Place: Wickham Park- The site of the High School Cross Country Championships
Exit 60 off of I-84. Park opens for course inspection at 8:00. Last course walk at 9:15
Time: 11:30 Please note that all participants must be able to finish the 1.7 mile run by 12:00 (30 minutes)
Course Description: This run will be contested over the “B” Race Course @ 1.7 miles
Registration and Bib hand-outs will close at 11:15AM to allow timer to finalize roster and prepare for 11:30AM start.
Entry Fee: $15.00; Proceeds from this race will be donated to the Manchester High School “Shoe Fund” for kids that cannot afford running shoes.
Awards: A plaque will be awarded to the Middle School team with the most participants. If your school is not listed during registration, there is an option to add it and subsequent registrants should then be able to pick it.
