2026 MORLEY TURKEY DASH RACE DETAILS
DATE: Saturday, November 7 @ 10am. Rain Date, Sunday, November 8 (same time).
COURSE: View the map HERE. The entire event will be outside. Morley will be open if you need to use the bathroom or refill your water bottle.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:
VOLUNTEERS: We still need volunteers! Sign up here: Morley Turkey Dash Volunteer Signup 2025. Volunteers, please check in with a Turkey Dash volunteer at the raffle table when you arrive.
PACKET PICK-UP: Race bags will be available for pick up on Wed, Nov 4 after school (2:00-2:45 pm), Thurs, Nov 5 before (8:00-8:30 am) and after school (3:20-4:00 pm) in the vestibule of the Morley auditorium (through the doors at the top of the front stairs). Pickup according to your runner(s) last name A-H, I-P, & Q-Z. Packets may also be picked up between 9:00-9:15 am on race day, BUT WED/THURS IS PREFERRED!! Does your child attend MEDC after school? We've got you! We'll coordinate with them to have your race bag at MEDC. Tick the box in the registration process
RAFFLE: Each registered runner will receive 1 raffle ticket at packet pickup. Browse the AWESOME raffle prizes and choose where you’d like to add your ticket, at packet pickup. Write the bib number on the ticket. Increase your chances to win and buy additional tickets! $1/ ticket. Cash or Venmo (@MorleyPTOWeHa). There are seriously great prizes! Not sure what to pick? Tickets can be dropped off on race morning too. $1 for lost ticket.
REGISTER: Registration (online only) will be open until 9:30am the day of the race; however, depending on supplies, we will likely only have bibs for same-day registrants.
DONATIONS: Please help us reach our $7,000 Goal!!! Donations can be accepted anytime, but to determine our top fundraisers, we will review donation totals at 11:59pm ET on 11/6/25. You can donate even if your children aren’t running! You can support a runner or just make a general donation by clicking on the “Donate” page.
SCHEDULE:
- 9:50 am: Younger Siblings gather at the start of the 50-yard dash. Stretch, smile, and get excited to run your (maybe first!) race!
- 10:00 am: Younger Siblings run; K-1 runners gather in the staging corral (look for your cone)
- After Conclusion of Younger Sibling Run: K-1 students run 1-2 laps. Try your best and choose the distance that’s a good challenge for you! Grades 2-3 gather in staging corral (look for your cone)
- After conclusion of K-1 Run: Grades 2-3 run 3 laps; Grades 4-5 gather in staging corral (look for your cone)
- After conclusion of Grade 2-3 Run: Grades 4-5 run 4 laps; Relay participants gather in staging corral (look for your cone)
- After conclusion of Grade 4-5 Run: Relay participants run 4 laps
*Whatever the race, encourage your runner(s) to do their best – no times are being recorded – it’s just for fun! So, have fun!
During/After the Race:
MUSIC & EMCEE: Music from former Morley dad, Brad Hayami and former Morley dad, Jay Stange, our awesome emcee.
FOOD: Eat breakfast at home so you’re powered up! But we’ll also have some treats for runners AFTER their race. Bring your own water bottle.
PRIZES: We will announce the winners of the raffle and top fundraisers at the end of all race waves. Please stick around!
