Harvest Hare is a swimrun, aquabike, duathlon, running, swimming, and triathlon race on November 14, 2026 in Broomall, PA, with entry fees from $25 to $60.
From the Organizer
Welcome to the Harvest Hare Swim and TriFest, our first event of the Frozen Hare Series!
Event headquarters will be at Lawrence Park Swim Club, at 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. This is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool. Pool is generally heated to 81-82F.
You'll have the choice of the following events:
*Please note that for multisport events, there are no transition times kept - only the time of your actual leg is recorded.
Our first swim heat will begin at 8:30AM, and heats will continue until 3:00PM (3:30 last finish). You will be asked to select an approximate swim start time during registration. Times may be adjusted 15-30 minutes to accommodate the most swimmers possible. We ask that you arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to your assigned start time. Start times and lane assignments will be emailed out Friday morning prior to the race. Swimmers may be required to share a lane with another swimmer. Everyone must be completed all of their legs by 3:30PM at the latest. That may require you to finish your bike and run before your swim!
PLEASE NOTE THAT BIKE AND RUN LEGS ARE 100% SELF SUPPORTED. NO TRAFFIC CONTROL WILL BE PROVIDED AND CYCLISTS/RUNNERS WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD. No course markings will be provided, so cyclists should bring GPS directions, or be very familiar with the roads in question. For those wishing not to ride the roads, cycling segments only may be substituted for a stationary ride on your bike trainer (at home or brought on deck). Stationary rides will constitute their own divisions and will be scored separately from road rides. For those racing in the cycling and running portions, you can expect to self report your times.
SWIM, BIKE, and RUN MAY BE DONE IN ANY ORDER YOU WISH, but must be completed by 3:30PM the day of the race.
All racers will receive a race t-shirt (provided entry is received by 10/12), and a custom French Creek Racing award based on their finish place. Custom awards to top 3 overall and in each age group, in each event. No awards ceremony, but awards are available soon after all results are tabulated.
REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is strongly advised. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your assigned wave time. Check in at our table and pick up some swag. Swim caps are optional for the swim leg. You will be asked to select an approximate swim start time during registration. Times may be adjusted 15-30 minutes to accommodate the most swimmers possible. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your assigned start time. Start times and lane assignments will be emailed out Friday morning prior to the race. Swimmers may be required to share a lane with another swimmer.
REFUNDS/DEFERRALS: No refunds will be issued. Bib transfers to non-registered people are NOT permitted.
A registered athlete may request a deferral to next year's event or a transfer to another French Creek Racing event if they do so at least 14 days prior to the event. A nominal fee shall apply.

From Endurance Grid
This race spans more than one sport — here’s a guide to each, so you can understand what’s involved and decide if it’s the right fit. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
A continuous race alternating open-water swimming and running across a series of segments. Distances, format, and legs vary by event.
A swim followed by a bike — a triathlon without the run. Sprint and Olympic distances, often alongside a tri at the same venue.
Run, bike, run. The multi-sport format without the swim. Two disciplines, one race — a great bridge between running and triathlon.
From 5K to marathon, running races are an accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
Open water races take place in lakes, rivers, bays, and oceans. Distances can run anywhere from a short 500m swim to 10K marathon events. Just you and the water.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
