Lace up those sneakers and get running to support our schools! We are looking forward to getting back to Cherry Hill Park for our annual FCEF Run for the Schools event! The 5K and untimed 1 mile will take place Sunday, September 20, at 8:00 am. The USATF Certified 5K course winds through the tree-lined streets of historic Falls Church City. The course is a mix of hills and flat stretches, a little something for every level runner. There will be a water stop along the course. The course also includes a 1 Mile loop for runners and walkers. Strollers are welcome! No bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or dogs please. All participants will receive a race shirt and other promotional items.

5k & 1 Mile: 19 & Over: $40
5k & 1 Mile: 18 & Under: $20
Online registration will remain open through 7:30 am Race Day, September 20. All registrations must be done online.
PACKET PICK UP opens Friday, September 18 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Meridian High School (121 Mustang Alley, Falls Church, VA) and Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 am-12:00pm at the Taste of Falls Church Festival and finally on race morning starting at 6:45 am at the race site.
AWARDS
Great prizes for the top male & female 5K finisher and top male/female 5K finishers in the following age categories; 1-8, 9-11, 12-15,16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & Over.
Proceeds benefit the Falls Church Education Foundation and all Falls Church City Public Schools. Programs support at-risk families, advanced teacher training and classroom innovation. For more information on the Foundation, check out the website; www.fcedf.org.
