From the Organizer
Join us for the 2026 McLean 5K race, hosted by the McLean Community Center (MCC) and the McLean Community Foundation (MCF). Recruit a team of co-workers, teammates, neighbors, and friends, and mark the calendar for October 10, 2026. Race starts at 8 a.m.!
The start and finish line is located at the McLean Square Shopping Center, 6631 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, Va. 22101.
A certified course through McLean is designed to appeal to runners of all abilities. One more reason to participate: the proceeds from the McLean 5K Race will benefit the McLean Community Foundation, supporting all things McLean, from schools and seniors to the arts, parks, and first responders.
Registration Fees:
$40 through August 31
$45 September 1 through September 30
$50 October 1 through RACE DAY!
Register early to secure your race t-shirt! Due to advance ordering, shirts are not guaranteed for all participants and will be distributed only while supplies last.
Packet pickup
- Friday, October 9, 9am-8pm

- Saturday, October 10 from 7am-8am at the event site: 6631 Old Dominion Dr. McLean, VA 22101
Bring a donation for SHARE! As a part of this year's race, we are again collecting food donations to support SHARE of McLean an all-volunteer organization. Please consider bringing a few items from SHARE's Most Needed List.
Medals will be given to the overall male and female finisher, and the top two male and female finishers in the following age groups: Under 9, 10-14, 15-19, 20- 24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
We will have prizes to be awarded during the ceremony after the race. You must be present to win. Be sure to stick around!
