
Come Out & Run 5k is a running race on September 20, 2026 in Wilton, CT, with an entry fee of $30.

Join Wilton Pride and Wilton Library for the Third Annual Come Out & Run 5K celebrating PRIDE, diversity, inclusivity, and the spirit of unity in honor of National Coming Out Day.
All are welcome to this community-wide, family friendly, pet friendly, event fostering camaraderie, empowerment, and most importantly, support for our LGBTQIA+ community members and allies. Part 5K, part community party, the event will feature music, festivities, food, flare, prizes, and much more. Runners, Walkers, Kids, Strollers, and Leashed Dogs are welcome.
Kids under 10 participate for free, but still need to register.
All 5K participants will receive a giveaway, digital race photos, post race festivities, and more!

We will be kicking off the day at 8:30 AM with a spirited, 30-yard dash on the Wilton Town Green right before the 5K! Dash your way to glory and compete to win!
This fun dash is all about grace, style and speed but don't take it too lightly. To qualify for the prize and ultimate bragging rights, your heels must be at least 3 inches tall. Want an extra edge? Show your pride! Runners clad in Pride attire will score preferred placement right at the front of the starting line.
Registration: Must be registered for the 5K.
Stilettos Only: Wedge or block-style heels are not permitted if you want to win. Race staff has the final call on heel eligibility!
Bring your own heels: To win the grand prize, heels must be 3 inches or taller. Race staff have final approval.
Pro-Tip: Taping your heels to your feet is highly encouraged.
Play Nice & Clean: No pushing or shoving. Keep it fierce, but keep it friendly!

Yes, someone else may pick up your race packet for you. We strongly recommend picking up your packet before race day to avoid lines. Packets will not be shipped.

Packet pickup opens at 7:45 AM. There are always lines at Packet Pickup. For a stress-free morning, we advise picking up on Friday or Saturday at Wilton Library. (Someone can pick up your packet for you.)
We suggest arriving no later than 8:15 AM
Restrooms will be available at Wilton Library beginning at 7:45 AM
Please allow enough time to park and get to the start
Post race snacks and refreshments on the Green for all participants
The 5K will have one water station
There will be ample parking around Wilton Town Center. If you will be getting dropped off, please get dropped off at Wilton Library.
