Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave
We are excited to introduce an Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave for athletes ages 5–17!
This fun, non-competitive wave is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive race experience for adaptive athletes. Participants can choose from the following distances:
Swim: 50 yards or 100 yards
Run: ½ mile or 1 mile
This wave is not timed—it's all about participation, confidence, and having fun! Every athlete who crosses the finish line will receive a special Splash & Dash finisher medal to celebrate their achievement.
Each athlete is required to have a race buddy accompany them throughout the event. Race buddies do not need to register for the race.
The Adaptive Splash & Dash Wave will begin approximately 5 minutes after the final athlete from the standard waves has exited the pool deck (around 8:00 a.m.).
We can't wait to celebrate our adaptive athletes and cheer them on to the finish line!

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
