Welcome to the TROTTINATOR. A premier Turkey Trot in Wildwood Missouri! Brought to you by Rockinator Racing.
Starting at 8:30am, the Trottinator is a fun family friendly 5k and 10k Thanksgiving morning event.!
Run walk or jog starting from racers village at the Farmers market down the pedestrian pathway to beautiful Wildwood Park and back across the Wildwood Sky bridge for a perfect pre turkey 5k. OR take the turn around in Racers village for the 10k.
Free 1/4 mile kids dash with "Trottinator" Metal finisher award and all kids get a cool race number to wear on race day. Get them signed up and chase that Turkey down!
FINISHERS MEDAL INCLUDED! Plus Custom Turkey Trottinator Medal pins and awards to top 3 in Age Groups. (1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) Trottinator T-SHIRT INCLUDED as well as a Rockinator Racing Neck Buff INCLUDED!

Please consider donating to The Rockwoods School District Cross Country program. 100% of proceeds go to help keep kids in shoes, jackets, tarps, drinks, and general program support. If you know someone on the XC or Track Teams you can donate in their name and they will receive an email knowing you are thinking of and supporting them.
Packet pick up at Wildwood Pub Tuesday Nov-25th from 3-7 pm and race morning from 7 to 8:10 am.

The National Anthem goes off at 8:26, then a quick warm up, and off you go at 8:30!

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.
Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.
This is also the distance that builds the base for everything else. Most athletes who go on to run half marathons, do triathlons, or compete in HYROX started here. What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.
