From the Organizer
Welcome to the 2026 West Point Youth Triathlon! This year's race is NOT a TOUGHKids event or a USAT Sanctioned race. The race is just-for-fun race with no podium awards to introduce kids to the sport of triathlon. All athletes will receive a t-shirt and a finisher's medal. The race will be held on the 15th of August 2026 for ages 4-14. There are three different races - one for kids aged 4-6 and one for kids aged 7-14, and one for kids aged 2-3 for a "Parent and Me" mini triathlon. The race will fill up quickly, and it is always a wonderful community event!
Parents, please consider volunteering to support the youth race or joining us for the 36th Annual West Point Sprint Triathlon on Sunday August 16, 2026 at Camp Buckner West Point, NY. Register at: https://runsignup.com/westpointtriathlon.
The athlete's guide with information on this event as well as the Sunday sprint triathlon will be published at a later date.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it’s the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
