Welcome to Corpus Christi’s 23rd annual Harbor Half Marathon
Harbor Half—growing from just 200 runners to drawing over 1,000 participants annually, along with 150+ dedicated volunteers who ensure a seamless experience. On November 7, 2026 the Harbor Half Marathon will make history by featuring a route over the newly completed Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi. As the tallest structure in South Texas and the longest cable-stayed bridge in the United States, this architectural marvel offers unparalleled visibility for sponsors. Runners from across Texas and beyond will be drawn to the breathtaking coastal course, which winds through two counties.
No strollers allowed except those specifically designed for Wings of Texas. No pets allowed on the course.

Note: Packet picket up is available morning of but remember you will need to pick up your bib (which includes your chip) Get there early. Allow yourself time for traffic due to construction in that area and lines to pick up your packet. Only pick up your packet on morning of if you are not able to at packet pick times.

The half marathon is the distance where you find out what you're actually made of. Long enough to demand real preparation. Short enough that it doesn't consume your life to train for it. That's not a warning — that's the point.
Race day energy varies by event size, but the finish line feeling is the same regardless. Big races keep the noise going the whole way. Smaller races give you stretches where it's just you and the miles — and that solitude becomes its own kind of fuel.
The half marathon rewards people who show up for the boring training miles.
How long to train: 10–14 weeks. If you're already running consistently, 10 weeks of structured buildup is enough. If you're building from a casual base, give yourself 14.
