The Waterford High School is hosting the 14th Annual 5K Turkey Trot Run/Walk on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The 5K race will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Great Neck School located at 165 Great Neck Road, Waterford. The race will be timed by Fast Track Timing LLC. Proceeds from this fun, community event will directly support whole school initiatives including prom, trips and scholarships.
Awards for top runners in each age group and a complimentary t-shirt will be given to all pre-registerd runners. The pre-registration cost is $40 and bib distribution will start at 8:45 am on race day. Pre-registration forms are being accepted now until November 19, 2026.
We will be collecting donations for the Gemma Moran Food Pantry on race day. Items needed include: shelf-stable microwable meals, oatmeal, ramen, mac and cheese, peanut butter, pasta and sauce, cereal, canned fruit and veggies, soup, rice, dry beans, and shelf-stable milk.
