From the Organizer
UltraTrax is back at Bear Creek for our third consecutive year! With a slightly updated course and 7, 14, 21, and 28-mile options, the UltraTrax challenge at Bear Creek Mountain in Macungie, PA will be a blast in 2027! Experience a scenic trek through the trails and winding paths of the mountain which include lush vegetation and beautiful views of the surrounding area. Participants will journey through varied terrain and elevation up to 1200 feet to push their mental and physical capabilities. Carry 10, 20 or 35 pounds for an extra challenge and to earn additional swag! Bathrooms and aid stations with water, electrolytes and snacks are located every 2-3 miles along the course. The course has been slightly adjusted this year to allow for additional double track trails between miles 2 through 5.
UltraTrax Bear Creek kicks off at 7am on April 3, 2027 (Yes! It's a Saturday this year!). The starting line will remain open from 7am to 10am. It is a timed event and participants will have until 5pm to complete the course. Bibs must be picked up in person the morning of the event if registering after 3/12/2027.
*If you signed up to carry weight, you will need to bring your own vest/backpack. We will weigh it the morning of the event. Everything counts toward the total except perishable items.
Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt, UltraTrax patch, and medal (this year all levels qualify to earn a medal!) Refreshments and food for purchase will be available after the trek.
