UltraTrax is excited to bring the ultimate long distance walking challenge to Alpine Valley! Experience the beautiful course that winds through forested hillsides, twisting single-track, and steady ascents that showcase the natural beauty of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine region. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack.
Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with well stocked aid stations supporting you along the way.
Trek Day Information
UltraTrax Alpine Valley kicks off at 7am on October 9, 2027. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 9/15/2027, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend.
*If you signed up to carry weight, you will need to bring your own vest/backpack. We will weigh it the morning of the event. Everything counts toward the total except perishable items.
Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt, UltraTrax patch, and medal (this year all levels qualify to earn a medal!) Refreshments and food for purchase will be available after the trek.
