Whether you prefer to walk, jog, or run, everyone participating on the 5K course registers for the same event. This is a professionally managed 5K with race bibs and chip timing available for participants who want to track their finish time, but you do not have to be a runner to participate.
Hosted by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omega Alpha Omega, in collaboration with the Alliance for a Brighter Community (ABC) Foundation, this event is more than a walk—it is a movement of compassion, advocacy, education, and hope. Together, we will celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand alongside individuals and families whose lives have been touched by these causes.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Alliance for a Brighter Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through education, health and wellness initiatives, scholarships, and community outreach programs. Your participation helps expand programs that empower individuals, support families, and create lasting opportunities throughout North Texas.
Whether you choose to run the 5K, walk with family and friends, volunteer your time, or simply make a donation, your participation makes a meaningful difference.
