The tradition before the Tradition!
Join us November 26th to celebrate the 20th Annual running of the Sparta Education Foundation Turkey Trot, presented by Krogh's. When you participate in the Turkey Trot, you support innovative educational grants made by the Sparta Education Foundation, whose mission is to promote educational excellence in Sparta Township’s public schools.
The event is a 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. Awards will be given to finishers by age group (see below) including youth age group medals. All participants receive a t-shirt, while supplies last.
Awards for Top three (3) Male and Female finishers Overall followed by the Top three (3) M/F in the following Age categories: 5 and under, 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, and so on until 80+
The course is an out and back USATF certified course starting and ending at Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta, NJ 07871.
NEW THIS YEAR!! After many (many!) requests, we are moving to CHIP TIME. This means that your official finish time is now based on the time you officially start the race, not when the gun goes off!
The Turkey Trot is a charity event for the Sparta Education Foundation; your support of the helps to fuel our mission.
There will be no refunds if this event is canceled due to reasons beyond our control.
