Race through the scenic streets of Randall's Island at The Riverside Church’s first-ever Turkey Trot 5K! This family-friendly event welcomes runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages for a morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit.
Kids can join the excitement in the Turkey Dash: a 100-yard sprint for ages 2–5 and a half-mile run for ages 6–13, making it a true celebration for the whole family. Whether you’re chasing a new personal best or enjoying the breeze as you soak in the island’s stunning views, every step you take helps make a difference.
All proceeds benefit The Riverside Church’s Social Services and Food Pantry, which provides food, emergency assistance, and vital resources to families across our community.

The Course
Enjoy a scenic loop around Randall’s Island with beautiful views of the waterfront and the New York skyline. The 5K course takes runners on a full loop of the island, while the Turkey Dash is set 200 yards from the finish line.
Amenities
Bag Check: Bring one clear bag for gear. Extra bags may not fit and will be provided if needed.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are available throughout the event.
Hydration: Water and electrolyte drinks will be available on the course and at the finish.
Post-Race Refreshments: Enjoy water, snacks, and fresh fruit after you cross the finish line.

Mass Transit Options:
Subway: Take the 4/5/6 to 125th Street, then transfer to the M35 bus, which goes directly onto Randall’s Island.
Bus: M35 to Randall’s Island
Citi Bike: Stations are available near 125th Street Footbridge (East Harlem) and in East Harlem near 125th Street.
Walking: Randall’s Island can be accessed via the 125th Street Footbridge.
