From the Organizer
Please join us as we honor the life of Brien Pursell at our family’s annual sunset 5k on Sunday, November 22, 2026 at Seville Quarter in Downtown Pensacola. The Last Mile is on mission to help develop, improve, and save lives by bringing awareness to safer streets and youth programs in our community.
Brien was tragically killed while running on November 21, 2016 in Gulf Breeze, FL. This run is a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life and his legacy. If you had the privilege of knowing Brien, you were changed by him for the better. His moments on earth gave those around him more than we could ever lose.
This sunset run will be held in Downtown Pensacola with the route taking you through some of Brien’s favorite sights downtown will start at 4.30pm. An after party will follow with booths from our sponsors and benefactors, along with food, drinks, silent auction and awards.
All proceeds benefit the local organizations listed on our website. For more information, please visit www.TheLastMile5k.com.
