From the Organizer
The Hybrid Runner Foundation is proud to support the Cleburne community of up-and-coming runners by donating the race proceeds to the Cleburne High School Cross Country and Track Teams. We are a non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Code Section 501(c)(3). Proceeds from the race will go directly to fund shoes, equipment, uniforms, and general team needs so these young, aspiring runners have all the tools to compete at their best.
Last year, our family of runners was thrilled to have a top-notch race in our backyard! We loved the energy, and it was the perfect way to kick off Thanksgiving Break. We hosted over 600 participants and aim to increase this number to 800 in 2026!
Join us for our 5th Annual Hybrid Runner Foundation Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the Cleburne Yellow Jacket XC and track teams.
Here are just a few highlights of our event:
Our race will take place in rain or shine. For your safety, headphones are discouraged during the race. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Strollers are permitted; however, for the safety of the other participants, we ask that you begin the race at the back of the group.
