Bridgeport Mile – Track Style
August 22, 2026 | 379 Bond St, Bridgeport, CT 06610 Bridgeport, CT
Join us for the inaugural Bridgeport Mile – Track Style, a high-energy community race created to bring competitive running back to Bridgeport and support the Field of Dreams Program. Presented by CT RUN CO and NIKE. Touted as the fastest Track Mile Race in CT, The Bridgeport Mile will include music and a fun-festival atmosphere.
For years, road races have moved away from Bridgeport, leaving local athletes with fewer nearby racing opportunities. The Bridgeport Mile changes that by giving high school students the chance to compete in their own community, sharpen their skills before the upcoming season, and experience the excitement of track-style racing.
Since 2021, CT RUN CO has proudly supported Bridgeport High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs, recognizing the life-changing impact running can have on young athletes. This event celebrates that mission while inspiring runners and residents of all ages.
