This is the 6th Annual Blue Jay Mile. The goal has always been to get and keep kids active while promoting youth running. The first race of the day is the 6th grade race with runners trying to beat the school record. One mile races follow for all other elementary age groups and an Open/Alumni race. The Blue Jay Mile has steadily grown and adds more competitive races each year. This year we will have a competitive middle school race. Cadence Running Club is now hosting this event with the mission of growing youth distance running in Fort Worth. Cadence Running Club
