ALL PARTICIPANTS PLEASE READ:
Please join us for The Big Energy Walk! Long Island's 1st family-friendly, non-competitive 5K walk/run, held in partnership with the Suffolk County Chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). CHADD's mission is to empower all people affected by ADHD through evidenced-based resources and education, unparalleled support, community connections and steadfast advocacy.
100% of the net proceeds will benefit the the Suffolk County Chapter of CHADD.
WHY WE WALK: An estimated 200,000+ children and adults on Long Island are living with ADHD. The Big Energy Walk was created to raise awareness, reduce stigma and connect families with support and resources.
PARKING: FREE for all participants
DATE: Sunday October 18, 2026
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
8:00 AM: Check-in, T-shirt pickup & Raffle ticket purchase begins
8:45: Welcome & Opening Remarks
9:00 AM: 5K Walk/Run begins
11:00 AM: Raffle Winners Announced. Winners must be present to claim prizes.
WEATHER POLICY:
The Big Energy Walk is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather or conditions that may compromise safety, event organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, reschedule or cancel the event.

Early Registration: July 1st-July 31st- Adults and children ages 13 years old & up: $25.
Children ages 5-12 years old: $15. Children ages 4 years old & under: FREE.
*Plus applicable processing fees.
Regular Registration: August 1st- September 20th- Adults and children ages 13 years old & up: $30
Children ages 5-12 years old: $20. Children 4 years old & under: FREE.

Late Registration: September 21st-October 17th- Adults and children ages 13 years old & up: $35
Children ages 5-12 years old: $25. Children 4 years old & under: FREE
