THE AMAZING SPOOKTACULAR 5K & MONSTER 1-MILE
Get ready to run, walk, and celebrate Mesquite ISD!
The MISD Education Foundation proudly presents the Amazing Spooktacular 5K & Monster 1-Mile, presented by Fuel City, on October 24, 2026, at Town East Mall!
Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy a fun-filled morning supporting Mesquite ISD teachers and students. Your participation helps bring teacher ideas to life across Mesquite ISD.
The event kicks off the Mesquite ISD Read.Play.Talk. Festival, featuring FREE trick-or-treating and FREE Kid's Zone access for kids who participate in the 5K, plus dozens of vendor booths, fun activities, and food trucks.
5K & Monster 1-Mile
- Adults $35 ($45 on RaceDay. The 5K is chip-timed.)
- Students $20 (Not chip-timed)

Race Packet includes:
- Official Event T-Shirt
- Custom Commemorative Finisher Medal
- Race Number/Bib - The 5K will be chip-timed, but many of our participants choose not to be timed and simply walk the course with family and friends.

Awards will be given for the Overall Male & Female and 1st place will be awarded in both male and female in the following age groups. NEW THIS YEAR...AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN AT A CEREMONY FOLLOWING THE 5K:
