Sunland Beautification Fun Run/Walk

This event is by online registration only. There will be NO onsite registration.

Please join us for the first annual Sunland Beautification Fun Run/Walk. The 5K is 3 laps and you will be chip timed for each lap. All participants will receive a finisher token, as well as a beer, glass of wine or water at finish line in club room.

The following is a timeline for the event:

1) 3:30-4:00 Registration Check-in in Clubhouse (725 S Rochester, Mesa, AZ US 85206)

At this time, you will get your bib number that needs to be pinned on your FRONT at waist level. There will be safety pins, and we ask that you use 2 on the top and at least one on the bottom. On the bib is a timing tag that will capture your time as you cross the mats under the blue arch.

2) 4:00-4:15 Recognize sponsors, donors, get instructions on the course, listen to the National Anthem

3) 4:15 Race starts

Runners should be in the front and walkers in the back. Please remember, if you are a walker, you are not allowed to run, you must walk the event. You will go through the through the arch at the start, and then after each lap. You can stop at any time, but you need to move to your left side to exit the course.

4) Finish – when you are finished with your laps, you are able to pick up your beer or wine and water in the clubhouse as well as your finisher token. There will also be chips available.

5) Results and awards - results will be available onsite

Water will be available before, during and after the event. Found in large white cooler outside clubhouse.
