🏃♂️ Join the South Metro SWAT 5K & Fun Run! 🏃♀️
Join members of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Moore Police Department, Norman Police Department, Norman Fire Department, and Norman Regional EMSTAT for the South Metro SWAT 5K and Fun Run.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM **RACE START TIME: 9:15 AM**
📍 Location: 1898 Legacy Park Drive, Norman, OK
The race takes place on a flat and fast course at beautiful Legacy Park—perfect for competitive runners and casual walkers alike!

Proceeds benefit the South Metro SWAT Team, helping to provide funding for uniforms, equipment, and vital training opportunities – so the team can better serve all of Cleveland County.
Whether you're racing for time or enjoying the fun run, your participation supports those who serve and protect our communities. Don't miss this opportunity to run for a great cause!
There are two race options: a timed 5K and an untimed 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Participants can choose from four entry options:
1. 5K Entry with T-Shirt ($30)
· Starting November 1st – ($35)
2. 5K Entry without T-Shirt ($20)
· Starting November 1st - ($25)
3. 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk with T-Shirt ($20)
· Starting November 1st - ($25)
4. 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk without T-Shirt ($15)
· Starting November 1st - ($20)
5. 5K Entry for High School and Below without T-shirt ($10)
All participants will receive a commemorative South Metro SWAT poker chip.
Awards:
First-place finishers in each age group (men and women) for the 5K will receive a custom South Metro SWAT Team logo medal.
Age groups for the 5k race are as follows for each gender:
- 15 yrs. and under
- 16-19 yrs.
- 20-24 yrs.
- 25-29 yrs.
- 30-34 yrs.
- 35-39 yrs.
- 40-44 yrs.
- 45-49 yrs.
- 50-54 yrs.
- 55-59 yrs.
- 60-64 yrs.
- 65-69 yrs.
- 70+ yrs.
Packet pickup will be on Friday, December 11th from 12pm-6pm at the OK Runner store located at 3408 36th Avenue NW Suite 100, Norman, OK 73072.
