The Sandhill Shuffle is back!!
Saturday September 26, 2026, the new Wheatfield Park Board will be hosting our 4th annual Sandhill Shuffle 5k race!
The race will once again start and end at Centennial Park, in the heart of the Town of Wheatfield, across from our own Heather's Diner and Stower's & Son Meat & Grocer! Enjoy 3.1 miles weaving through our small town streets! All proceeds from the race will continue to go toward our Centennial Park playground project, which is closer to completion than ever! We have bigger projects ahead and we are ready to get Centennial Park upgraded!
Online registration is NOW OPEN and will remain open through September 24th at 11:00pm. ***** Register before September 7th to guarantee your Sandhill Shuffle 5k T-Shirt!!!******
Race Day Registration and packet pickup will begin at 7am. Registration for the event will close promptly at 7:45am before the race start.
The race will start at 8:00 am and awards will be handed out at race completion, approximately 9:15am
Awards presented at the end of the race will be presented to:
Overall Female and Male
Overall Female and Male Masters
Top 3 finishers in each Age division, Male and Female:
10 and under, 11 - 12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, and in each Athena (>170 lbs), Clydesdale (>210 lbs), and Non-Binary
Registration Fees:
Adults (15 and up) - $25
Youth (14 and under) - $15
RACE PRICE WILL INCREASE TO $30 for ages 15 and up ON SEPTEMBER 1st 2026!!! So be sure to register before then!
