TRIPLE CROWN CHALLENGE FAQ:
ABOUT:
Run For The Hills 2K & 5K takes place on a closed-course and loops through the beautiful and hilly 144-acre property at Camp Triangle Hills of Crossroads YMCA. Run For the Hills is part of Crossroads YMCA's Fall Fest and runners & families can stay after the race to engage in FREE activities such as rock climbing, high ropes course, archery, tractor rides, petting zoo, fishing, pumpkin launching and more!
Race Day Registration and Check-In: 630AM-730AM
5K Start: 8:00 am SHARP!
2k Start: at 8:05 am (untimed)
COST:
5K is $30 (11 & up); $15 (10 & Under). *Price increase after September 10th
2k is $20 (11 & up); $10 (10 & Under) *Price increase after September 10th
Shirt not guaranteed if registered after September 10th
5K AGE/WEIGHT DIVISIONS
0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80+ Masters (40 and over for Male & Female)
Overall (Male & Female)
Participants can also choose to participate in the Athena (Women 170 LBS+) and Clydesdale (Men 210 LBS+) division. Participants in this division are not eligible for Overall, Master, or Age Group awards.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
START/FINISH LINE & RACE RESULTS (5K ONLY)
Computerized “On the Bib” timing by T & H Timing will be used to increase the accuracy and speed of results with less hassle to race participants.
