RUN LIKE MIKE
3.1 Miles, 30 Years, 1 Big Mike.
30 years old. 3.1 miles. Questionable life choices.
It’s official: Mike is entering a new decade, which means he’s now officially an old man. His knees might crack when he stands up, his bedtime is getting earlier, and he’s starting to realize that stretching is no longer optional. But before he trades his running shoes for New Balance dad sneakers and starts talking about the weather, we’re celebrating the only way we know how: with a 5K!
Join us for Run Like Mike, a birthday race dedicated to 30 years of Mike being Mike and one glorious morning of pretending we’re all athletes. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or someone who considers walking to the fridge cardio, there’s a place for you.
Because staying fit in your 30s is important. Those beers aren’t going to burn themselves off, and apparently, your metabolism doesn't get invited into the new decade.
🏁 RACE DAY DETAILS
📍 Location: Coolidge Park
⏰ 10:00 AM — Packet Pickup
🏃 10:45 AM — Race Start
TWO WAYS TO RUN LIKE MIKE
🏃 Run Group: For those who still have functioning knees and something to prove.
🚶 Walk Group: For those who know that 30 is too old to be taking this seriously.
📱 Track Your Miles: Runners can track their individual performance using the Strava app on their phone or smartwatch. Because if you didn't record it, did you even exercise?
RSVP and SHOW UP because t-shirts will be provided for all participants!
🥨 Post-Race Fuel: Light drinks and snacks will be provided to help you recover from the grueling 3.1 miles you just survived.
🍻 The Real Finish Line: Once the running is done, the beers begin! Join us for an informal after-party at Oddstory to celebrate Mike's 30th birthday the right way. Hydration is important, after all.
Come run, walk, jog, or shuffle your way into Mike's new decade. Bring your friends, bring your energy, and bring your ibuprofen.
Thirty is the new twenty… until you pull a hamstring.
