From the Organizer
The race will start behind the Red Top Mountain State Park Lodge Parking Lot in the open field (required for spacing) and will soon lead into the woods. This course and venue is very scenic and sets up as a beautiful backdrop along the Lake Allatoona shoreline! The terrain is made up of a little bit of everything: rolling hills, steep hills, single track, double track, minimal roots and rocks (running surface is very forgiving and easy to navigate). The race will utilize the Sweet Gum Trail, Homestead Trail, Campground Trail, Iron Hill Trail and Visitor Center Loop Trail. The course is beautiful and offers something for every runner truly wishing to "ditch the city".
There are two distance options 8.85 Miles and 3.1 Miles to choose from.
Packet Pick Up is from 6:30-7:30 / Race Starts at 8:00 a.m. Sharp!
