Annual "Run at the Rock" 5K Community Race! “The Rock” is a legendary cross-country trail run that's cemented its place in North Georgia XC racing history! This thrilling course, a mix of grass and rugged trails, offers runners the ultimate challenge: the notorious 90-foot ascent up "The Rock" in the second mile. It's more than a race—it's a test of grit, determination, and the pursuit of glory. Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a competitive 5K time or just looking for a fun and adventurous Saturday run, the reward of conquering The Rock awaits! For our younger athletes, we’re excited to host the 1-Mile Fun Run, a loop around our lower field that finishes in the same spot as the 5K. *RACE LOCATION: Woodland High School - 800 Old Alabama Rd. SE - Cartersville, GA 30120
*Pre-Registration Entry fees (Until Monday 11/30/2026 at 11:59 PM)
*Race-Day & Packet-Pick up Registration Entry fees:
*Pre-Registration Packet Pickup: 4:00-8:00 at Big Peach Running Co Cartersville Friday 11/14/2025.
*Race Day/Packet Pickup Registration: Opens 6:30 AM, closes 7:30 AM, Race Day registration prices will increase to $40, and no T-shirt will be guaranteed.
Parking: Woodland High School now only has one main entrance that is located directly in between both former entrances. Continue straight once entering campus to enter the athletic grounds, and parking will be available in the gravel lots by the softball field and tennis courts, or on grass along the gravel road that leads to our XC course. Overflow parking will be available by the football field, or our student parking lot by the main school building.
