From the Organizer
Rachel & Friends is a non-profit organization that works with adults with developmental disabilities. In addition to day programming, we work with individuals in the community that also have developmental challenges. The purpose of this race is to empower the community to see the amazing individuals around us with Down Syndrome, Autism or other challenges and embrace the beauty in all of us. The event offers two race distances, 5k or 1 mile. Choose whatever is best for you! There is also a free fun run for the kids before the start of the 5k and 1-Mile races. All kids will receive a ribbon when they finish the fun run.
Please note: The online registration deadline, to receive a shirt at the 5k is October 10, 2026. Those who register online, or in person, after this deadline, may not receive a shirt at the 5k. In-person registration will be available on the day of the event at 8:00pm.
