Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/ 10K & Kids Monster Mile on Saturday, October 31st. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 10 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series. All Participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a Medal and a giveaway. The Monster Mile participants will receive a Monster Mile medal! Proceeds from this race will benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club.
The course will begin on the 100 block of Washington Street, right in front of Yoop-phoria, Digs and Richardson Jewelers! Participants will race down Washington Street, crossing Front Street and running Past Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, taking a right onto lakeshore blvd and gradually making their way onto the bike path prior to hitting Main Street. Once they approach the bike path they will head South on the Bike Path towards Harvey. The 5K turnaround will be indicated with signage and will be located before the Carp River Bridge. The 10K turnaround will be located on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and will be indicated by an Aid Station. Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue.
The Kids Monster Mile will begin on the bike path (In front of the Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and will head north on the bike path, turning around just after the entrance to lower harbor park.

*all bibs MUST be picked up by 11:30am
Due to it being Halloween, there will be no Post Race Party. Those who win their age group can collect their prize near the timing booth. The overall Male and Female Winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC, there will also be age groups awards for both events! Halloween is everyone's excuse to dress up! Be sure to get your most creative Halloween costume out for a chance to win a prize in our famous costume contest! The costume contest will be judged in two ways:
1: Individuals (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd place $25 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 3rd Place $10 Gift Certificates to QCRC)
2: Pairs: (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd place $25 gift certificate to QCRC, 3rd Place $10 Gift Certificates to QCRC)

Age Group awards will be as Follows:
Kids Monster Mile: Male & Female 12 and Under (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place)
10K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
5K: Male & Female Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
