Pumpkinman's 20th Anniversary — Help Us Write the Next Chapter
For 20 years, Pumpkinman has donated over $435,000 to community causes. That's something worth protecting.
As we celebrate 20 years, one thing is clear: if Pumpkinman is going to thrive beyond year 20, it has to create even more impact — more meaning, more support, and more good than ever before. That starts right here.
In 2026, we are encouraging all participants to support The Marshwood Education Foundation — a local nonprofit that provides grants to teachers and students for innovative opportunities that fall outside the regular school budget.
Two ways to help:
Make a donation — any amount, right here, right now. Every dollar goes directly to MEF.
Create an individual fundraiser — set up your own fundraising page, share it with your friends and family, and let your community rally behind your race.
If you decide to jump in and do some good along the way, here's what you get to unlock:
Raise $150+ A fundraiser bracelet to proudly wear that gives you access to the BRAND NEW FUN-Raiser Lounge at the finish, plus an exclusive upgraded swag bag filled with curated goodies from local merchants and partners you won't find in the regular race swag bags
Raise $250+ Everything above, plus a special 20th Anniversary Pumpkinman hat you can't buy anywhere else
Raise $500+ and become a Legend Everything above, plus Legend of the 20th recognition and special recognition in the celebration zone
And because this is brand new, we'll keep adding surprises, local products, and partner goodies to the fundraising tiers as we go.
Every dollar you raise or donate helps ensure that Pumpkinman doesn't just celebrate 20 years — it builds toward 20 more.
NEW FOR 2026: THE GRATEFUL MILE

From Endurance Grid
This race spans more than one sport — here’s a guide to each, so you can understand what’s involved and decide if it’s the right fit. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think. Three sports in one race means three movements to train and race day never gets monotonous.
A swim followed by a bike — a triathlon without the run. Sprint and Olympic distances, often alongside a tri at the same venue.
