We’re celebrating five years of Protect Your Peace with our very first Protect Your Peace 5K!
Join us for a fun, community centered 5K run/walk through Belhaven, starting and finishing at Protect Your Peace Studios.
And because it’s Halloween costumes are encouraged! Come dressed up, come as you are, bring your run crew, grab your walking partner, or take on your very first 5K. The Protect Your Peace 5K is about more than how fast you cross the finish line. It’s about movement, community, joy, and protecting your peace one mile at a time.

Access to our pre race Packet Pickup Party October 30th from 4pm-6pm
PACKET PICKUP PARTY
Kick off race weekend with us at PYP Studios! Pick up your race bib, T-shirt and swag, grab something from Sipp.sation, enjoy music from the DJ, meet fellow runners and get ready for race day.
AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers.
First-place Male and Female awards will also be presented in each age division:
16-19 • 20–29 • 30–39 • 40–49 • 50–59 • 60+
*Overall winners will not also receive an age-group award.
And because we’re running on Halloween, we’ll have special recognition for Best Costume and Best Group/Crew Costume.
One participant will also receive our special Protect Your Peace Award, recognizing someone who embodies the spirit of movement, encouragement, community and protecting their peace.
