Round 2 of the North Carolina Triathlon Series.
Come enjoy a spring weekend in the North Carolina sandhills. Spend an extra day on one of the many 5-star golf courses that define Pinehurst as one of the golf meccas on the east coast. Visit the beautiful and quaint "downtown" area of the Village of Pinehurst with its numerous shops and restaurants. Finally, come participate in one of the best international distance triathlons in the region, plus a sprint distance option.
Pinehurst offers up a gorgeous lake, challenging bike course with good roads and little traffic, and a memorable run around Lake Pinehurst.
A staple of the North Carolina Triathlon Series since the race started in 1997.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
