Join us at Race Judicata 2026 – Halloween, October 31st
Forsythe Park, 2300 Sycamore Street, Monroe, Louisiana
Race Judicata returns on Saturday, October 31st, 2026 at 8:00 AM, and you're invited to lace up for justice! This annual 5K at Forsythe Park is more than a run — it's a united stride toward community growth and access to justice, with all proceeds benefiting the Northeast Louisiana Bar Foundation's pro bono projects.
This year's race closes out National Pro Bono Week (October 25–31), a fitting finish to the week that honors the attorneys and volunteers who give their time to help others. And since race day is Halloween, come in costume — we'll be handing out awards for the best ones!
Whether you're a dedicated runner or simply wish to show your support, your participation directly strengthens legal and outreach efforts in our region. Enjoy the scenic course weaving through Monroe's north side, and experience the warm spirit of civic engagement.
Refreshments & Local Flavor
Snacks will be provided before and after the race. Along the route, water will be provided to all participants.
Awards – Celebrate Your Sprint
Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group:
- 19 & under
- 20–29
- 30–39
- 40–49
- 50–59
- 60–69
- 70 & over
Every finisher also receives a participation medal.
Costume Awards
It's Halloween — come dressed to run! Medals will be awarded for Best Overall, Funniest, and Best Group/Family costume.
Race Shirts
A race t-shirt is included when you register and choose your size by October 10th. After that, shirts may be available as a paid add-on at cost, delivered after race day (TBD). Make sure and give them a look, they're fun!
Good to Know
- Packet pickup: Friday, October 30th at Fleet Feet Monroe (Forsythe Ave), or race morning.
- Law student rate: $20.
