From the Organizer
Loveland Lake to Lake Triathlon has welcomed athletes from Northern Colorado, this entire state, region, country, and outside the USA for 26 years and we are excited about our 2026 edition.
Athletes have ONE OPPORTUNITY each summer to compete at this beautiful venue. Loveland CO~ one opportunity, one time each summer on a Saturday morning in June.
Lake to Lake is proudly known for striking the perfect balance between providing a very beginner-friendly experience where athletes who are new to the sport can ask the questions they need to feel comfortable and have a successful day (everyone from our staff to volunteers, our sponsors, and other athletes are willing to help) and at the same time attracting a high level of talent from outside the state as well as athletes from CU and CSU.
Racing for YOUR reason ~ whether you’re seeking an introduction to multi-sport, improvement upon your performance from the year past, competing for a slot at USAT Nationals (this is a USAT-sanctioned event), or coming out and competing with family and friends, we welcome all athletes to compete and improve at your level. An event known for its friendly local atmosphere, lovely venue, tremendous volunteer force, and a great race course.
No matter the athlete’s background, everyone will be able to relish in our friendly local atmosphere, incredible volunteer support, a scenic course, and a shady venue that makes spectating enjoyable for the whole family (even a playground for the kids!). Plus, you won’t find a better post-race meal anywhere else.
If for any reason you need to defer your registration to next year, we will offer 50% towards next year entry until three weeks out. Then it goes to zero. Please utilize the insurance option if you are concerned you may not be able to participate on race day.

Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
