Longmonster Dash 5k is a running race on October 17, 2026 in Longmont, CO.
From the Organizer
Something spooky this way runs! Lace up your monster clogs and join the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce for the inaugural Longmonster Dash, a Halloween-themed 5K and costume contest on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Runners, walkers and broom fliers of all paces are welcome, with pumpkin trophies for overall race winners and age-group awards. You don't want to miss the costume contest, with witch trophies given to our not so lucky winners, including Best Overall, Best Family, Best Group, and Spookiest Costume. Stick around (if you dare) for our finish expo and connect with local businesses and community organizations.
Whether you’re racing the clock, your fellow ghoul or dressing to win, the Longmonster Dash is a morning built around community, connection, and Longmont pride!
The 5k will be held at the Dickens Farm Nature Area, located between Main St. and Martin St. on Boston Ave. Parking information and a map of the event will be sent prior to the race.
Packet pickup begins at 7:30 am. The chip-timed race begins at 8:30 am. Be a part of something bigger this Halloween at the Longmonster Dash 5K!
