**KIDS THAT RUN IN THE "KIDS RACE" CAN ALSO WALK THE 3K, OR RUN/WALK THE 5K WITH FAMILY**
What: The Turkey Trot is back (organized by Champions Recovery Alternative Services), and we can’t wait to see you! Come join the fun on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful downtown Hanford.
When: Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 8 AM. (Kids Races will start at 7:30am) - Rain or Shine.
Where: Start/Finish Line, 325 N Douty Street (Between Superior Dairy & Civic Center Park), in Hanford. Same 5K Route, just a BIGGER Race Finish Line Venue to Cheer, Support, Meet Up, and Hang Out with your family and friends!
This course is scenic, and will take you around downtown; before the 5K splits and does an out-an-back on Douty Street, and the 3K Walkers return to the Finish Line!
Medals: Medals will be awarded to our Top 20 Male & Top 20 Female 5K Finishers, must be registered in the 5K chip timed race!
Kids Races: 1/4 Mile Fun Race, and 1/2 Mile Fun Race.
Biggest Flock Award: Create your team/group, have your family & friends (maybe your entire work) join it....Win the BIGGEST FLOCK AWARD! Tie-Breaker - Best Dressed!
Best Dressed Turkey Award: Come out in your best outfit and strut your stuffing to win this years "Best Dressed Turkey Award"
Packet Pick-Up:
Tuesday, November 24th & Wednesday, November 25th from 9 AM to 6 PM, at 311 N Douty Street (Champions Corporate Office).
On Thanksgiving Morning, we will open at 6:30 AM. To avoid long lines and a late start the day of the race, please pick up your packet early!
Race Benefits: Champions Recovery Alternative Programs, Inc., a local Non Profit community-based organization dedicated to nurturing a healthier Kings County.
