The race starts at 8 a.m., Nov. 14, at Hillwood Baptist Church, 300 Kohler Road, Huntsville, AL. This flat and fast course through South Huntsville is perfect for first-time half marathoners, PR attempts, and as training for the Rocket City Marathon.
Aid stations with water, powerade, Gu, bananas and porta-potties will be provided every 2 miles. We're also planning entertainment along the course!
Parking at the church is limited; carpooling is encouraged. Please observe and comply with the directions of the volunteers directing parking, and do not park on private property or in areas that are blocked off.
Weather conditions vary in early November so be prepared for conditions that could be warm and sunny, chilly and windy, or rainy.
