Join us for the 14th Annual Turkey Trot 5K!
Kick off your Thanksgiving with a fun-filled dash through Hendersonville at the 14th annual Turkey Trot to benefit Hope Coalition! Whether you are a seasoned runner, casual stroller, or just in it for the costumes, this event is open to all-ages!
The unsanctioned race kicks off at 8:30 a.m. in front of City Hall. This brand new route will start on 6th avenue in front of City Hall continuing down Main Street to the Ecusta Trail. The Ecusta Trail route will loop back onto 5th avenue to complete the race at City Hall. Runners and walkers should plan to be off the course by 10:30am, leaving plenty of time to feast! The race will go on rain, shine, or snow, so dress for the weather and make it memorable!
A long-sleeve Turkey Trot tee is FREE with registration but not guaranteed after November 10th at midnight. A limited number of tees will be available for purchase the morning of the run @ $25 each. Please note children sizes are only available in short sleeves.
There will be Fun Prizes for Fastest Male, Fastest Female, Fastest Youth Male & Female (12 and under), Best Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Individual Costume, Farthest Traveled, and Best Pet Costume!
July 23 - October 3: Early Bird Registration: $28
October 4 - October 31: Wobble Wobble Registration: $31
November 1 - November 23: Gobble Gobble Registration: $34
November 24 - 26 8am: Almost Roasted Registration: $38
If you can’t join on Thanksgiving and still want to support Hope Coalition, you can still register and run on your own time and make your own course!

Monday November 23, 2026 1-4pm
Wednesday November 24 & 25, 2026 10-4pm, Hope Coalition Youth Connection Center, 301 N Justice St.
Thursday: November 26, 2026 7:30-8:30am-Race Start
Any unclaimed packets may be sold after 8:30am on race day
Hope Coalition's mission is dedicated to preventing substance misuse among youth and focusing on long-term recovery for anyone impacted by alcohol and drug addiction. We believe intervention, prevention, and connection makes our community stronger and healthier for all. Thank you for your support!
