From the Organizer
Give NCW Turkey Trot is a great way to start your holiday season! The event features timed 5K and 10K races and an untimed, free run for kids. The 5K and 10K races are held on the Apple Capital Loop Trail along the Wenatchee riverfront. The Kids Race is held on a short course near the grounds of Pybus Public Market. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted.
This family friendly event kicks off the annual Give NCW online giving campaign hosted by the Community Foundation of NCW. Special thanks to Presenting Sponsor, Wenatchee Valley Medical Group and Gold Sponsors, Cordell Neher & Co. and Cashmere Valley Bank. Thanks to their sponsorship, every dollar from registration fees goes to support Give NCW. This giving campaign starts Thanksgiving Day and runs through Dec. 31 and supports over 75 nonprofit organizations in NCW. Race proceeds will be shared among the nonprofit organizations that participate in the campaign.
The “Best Dressed Individual” will receive a $500 Giving Card that can be redeemed to support nonprofits on Give NCW, and the “Best Dressed Group” will receive a $1,000 Giving Card.
Planning to bring your dog? Enter your canine companion during the registration process and for an extra $5 donation, your pup will receive a Turkey Trot bandana (if it is among the first 150 to register) and a chance to win a Gift Basket from our friends at Firehouse Pet Shop!
