Adelante, Inc. Presents: 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos 5K Walk & Run
Join Adelante, Inc. for our 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos 5K Walk & Run—a vibrant, community-centered event that honors culture, remembrance, and wellness in Northwest Indiana.
Held at beautiful Wicker Memorial Park, this timed 5K brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members to celebrate Día de los Muertos—a tradition that honors loved ones who have passed while embracing life, legacy, and connection.
Whether you are running in memory of someone special, supporting the community, or simply enjoying a meaningful and energetic event, all are welcome—including your furry friends!

⏰ Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30 AM at the Pavilion

💛 About Adelante, Inc.
Adelante, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting the Latino community in Northwest Indiana through advocacy, programming, and community engagement.
Proceeds from this race support scholarships for local Northwest Indiana college students, helping expand access to higher education and opportunity.

🟡 T-shirts are guaranteed for timed 5K participants registered by October 12. T-shirts will be guaranteed for walkers and kids for participants registered by October 2nd.
Limited extra shirts will be available for purchase on race day for $20.

💀 Día de los Muertos Costume Contest
Celebrate the spirit of the day!
Prizes will be awarded for the Top 3 Día de los Muertos costumes/makeup—so come dressed to honor the tradition and bring the celebration to life.
🐾 Pets are welcome too! Bring your dogs (on leash) and feel free to dress them up to join in the fun.
