Join Adelante, Inc. on Sunday, November 1, 2026, for the 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos 5K Run & Walk at beautiful Wicker Memorial Park in Highland, Indiana.
This unique community event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters to celebrate the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos while promoting health, wellness, remembrance, and educational opportunity throughout Northwest Indiana.
Whether you're running in honor of a loved one, walking with family and friends, or simply looking to be part of a meaningful community event, everyone is welcome, including your four-legged companions.

Commemorative event shirts are guaranteed for:
Timed 5K participants registered by October 12
Walkers and Alebrijito Dash participants registered by October 2
A limited number of additional shirts will be available for purchase on race day while supplies last.

Día de los Muertos Costume Contest
Show your spirit and creativity by participating in our Día de los Muertos Costume Contest.
Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 costumes and makeup designs that best celebrate the tradition and culture of Día de los Muertos.
Pets are welcome to join the fun and may participate in costume festivities as well.
