Country Lake 5K

The Country Lake 5K run, walk & jog event was inspired out a of a desire to share the beauty and resources of Country Lake Christian Retreat with our neighbors and our community. In many ways, the sprawling 200 acre property is a hidden gem to those who live the closest to it so we wanted to carve out one special day each year to open our doors and our grounds to our friends, family, and community. We love giving back to the community and have been fortunate to donate a portion of the proceeds each year to support our local schools, clubs and athletic programs. Fall is arguably the most beautiful time of year at Country Lake with the fall colors and breathtaking scenery so beginning this amazing day with a 5K Race is a wonderful way to kick it off. Historically, the Country Lake 5K has been 75 percent rugged trail and 25 percent road race. We listened to our racers and have made an adjustment to the course to incorporate more roadway and less rugged trail. The course still allows runners to enjoy the beauty of the Country Lake property as it winds around the lake and through our wooded areas. Official timer of event by Photo Finish Timing, LLC. 

Date & Time: October 24, 2026, check-in begins at 8 am with 9 am start based on desired pace. We will have staggered start for desired pace (Competitive, Intermediate/youth & Leisure).

Cost: $25 per person and includes a t-shirt if registered prior to October 11, 2026

A portion of the registrations will be donated to a community partner to be named. The Country Lake 5K Race will be followed by Country Lake Community Day Fall Festival from 10am-5pm. Admission is free and will include popular Country Lake activities like Zip line, Paintball, Axe Throwing, Volleyball, Basketball, Off-Road Jeep Rides, Music and much more.  A variety of food trucks will offer cash and carry meal options all day.  It will be a full day of family fun activities.
