Franklin Grove Area Historical Society is proud to host, The Cook Cancer 5K Walk/Run in memory of Ron and Melody Cook, this is a new event which invites runners and walkers of all ages to experience the various terrains in Chaplin Creek Historic Village, 1715 Whitney Rd, in Franklin Grove, Illinois.
Cancer has affected many households, by participating, you're not only getting active and having fun, but you're also helping make a meaningful impact in cancer research through the American Cancer Society, where the profits from the race are going.
Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this 5K is a chance to come together, give back, and celebrate everything that makes Franklin Grove special. The Franklin Grove Area Historical Society, a 501C3 non-profit organization, hopes to see you October 17th, 2026.
